Biography
Dr Anna Slowinska is a specialist in clinical oncology and internal medicine. In November 2023, she joined the team at the Zurich Breast Center as a Senior Consultant in medical oncology. She is fluent in German, English and Polish.
Dr Slowinska obtained her medical degree from the University of Silesia in Zabrze, Poland, in 1995. She completed her specialisation in internal medicine in 2003, followed by a specialisation in clinical oncology in 2010. Over the course of her career, she has held various positions, including Chief Physician and Head of Clinical Oncology at the Voivodeship Hospital in Czestochowa, Poland, and Chief Physician at the Medyk Breast Center. She has also served as Head of Department and Chief Physician in Clinical Oncology and Immuno-Oncology at the Ministry of Interior Hospital in Olsztyn, Poland, specialist in internal medicine and oncology at the Heinrich Braun Clinic in Zwickau, Germany, and Head of Department for internal and oncological rehabilitation at Zürcher RehaZentren in Davos.
Dr Slowinska is a member of several professional societies, including the Swiss Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, ASCO, AACR, the Society of Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) and the Swiss Society of Internal Medicine.
