Biography
Dr Elena Kralidis is a specialist in internal medicine and medical oncology. Since August 2020, she has contributed her valuable expertise daily as senior oncologist and breast cancer specialist at the Zurich Breast Center. In 2023, she took over leadership of the oncology department. She speaks German, Greek, French and English.
Dr Kralidis began her academic career at the University of Bern, where she studied human medicine from 1994 to 2000 and earned her doctorate at the Inselspital Bern. She completed her postgraduate training, receiving the FMH specialist titles in general internal medicine and medical oncology in 2011.
She has held positions in several prestigious medical institutions in Switzerland, including the hospital in Zofingen, the Inselspital Bern as senior physician, and the medical oncology clinic of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau as senior physician with special responsibilities. From 2019 to 2022, she also worked at the OnkoZentrum Zurich and as an accredited physician at the Hirslanden Klinik im Park and the Hirslanden Clinic Zurich.
As a member of the Swiss Society of Medical Oncology, the Swiss Medical Association (FMH) and the Swiss Society of Senology, Dr Kralidis is actively engaged in the fight against breast cancer.
