Biography
Dr Katrin Tomic is a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics. Since September 2023, she has been working as a consultant at the Zurich Breast Center, where she contributes her extensive expertise daily. She is fluent in German, English, Croatian and French.
Dr Tomic began her academic career studying human medicine in 2011 at the University of Basel, graduating in 2017. In 2019, she also earned her doctorate in medicine at the same university. Her dissertation ‘Significance of Ventriculomegaly’ was published in the renowned journal Child’s Nervous System.
After her studies, Dr Tomic worked as a resident physician in gynaecology and obstetrics at Limmattal Hospital, University Hospital Zurich and Zollikerberg Hospital. Thanks to her specialist knowledge and dedication, she was appointed Senior Physician at Zollikerberg Hospital in December 2022 and became a board-certified specialist in May 2023.
Dr Tomic is a member of the Swiss Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (SSGO) and the Swiss Society of Senology.
